SWASAN Chemical Materials Co., Ltd., a well-known chemical firm in India, recently visited Jinan Morinte Machinery Co., Ltd. in China. They watched on-site demonstrations and tested the cutting equipment. They were very satisfied with Morinte Machinery’s precision cutting technology and decided to buy two machines: a straight cutter and a rotary cutter. This marks their first cooperation.
SWASAN was founded in 1987 and is based in Mumbai, India. It makes specialty chemicals like thermoplastic powders and polymer powder beads. Its products are used in clothing linings, paints, and cosmetics. The company came to China to find high-precision cutting machines for high-performance fibers to upgrade its production.
Morinte Machinery showed SWASAN how its equipment works. In the workshop, the customer saw cutting tests on aramid, polyester, and carbon fiber. These materials are hard to cut: aramid needs very smooth edges, and carbon fiber is brittle and easy to fray. Morinte’s machines use Siemens PLC and variable frequency drive technology to cut lengths from 0.2mm to 100mm with stepless precision. The on-site results showed that the cutting edges were smooth and burr-free, with length errors within ±0.05mm—meeting SWASAN’s strict standards.

Morinte Machinery has over 10 years of experience in making cutting equipment and has exported to countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Egypt. The two machines for SWASAN have a modular design, so they can be upgraded later. They also have a multi-language interface for overseas users.
India’s chemical industry is moving toward high-end and fine processing, so demand for specialty chemicals and high-performance materials is growing fast. Morinte Machinery will keep improving its precision cutting technology to better serve global customers with customized solutions.
