Polyester Fiber Cutting Machine is designed for precision cutting of polyester, viscose, and blended staple fibers into uniform lengths. High-hardness blades and adjustable cutting mechanism deliver clean, consistent cuts with minimal dust and fiber damage. Ideal for nonwoven, spinning, and composites. Robust, easy-maintenance, and high-capacity for continuous industrial use.
This Polyester And Viscose Fiber Cutting Machine is accurate size cutting machine, There have three type to meet different requirement. Standard type, Long feeding conveyor type and PLC type. PLC type suitable for short fiber cutting which below 2mm, easy to set the cutting size through panel. Through blade controlled by wheel or PLC shearing up and down, can cut the materials into a certain length, cutting size is uniform and adjustable.
This polyester/Viscose tow and fiber cutting machine is specially used for cutting glass fiber, carbon fiber, terylene fiber, polypropylene fiber and aramid fiber , polyester and viscose tow into a certain length that in field of construction material making, special paper making, paint making and other process.

The polyester fiber cutting machine has a wide range of applications. It can be regarded as a "versatile short-cutting tool," with its core purpose being to cut various fibrous or soft materials into uniform small sections according to requirements, so as to facilitate subsequent recycling, reuse, or further processing.
Application Field | Specific Material Examples | Main Purpose or Subsequent Use |
Textile & Apparel Recycling | Fabric scraps, used garments, apparel cutting waste, textile waste yarn, cotton waste | Recycling and reuse, serving as preparation for subsequent opening/blending and reprocessing |
Chemical Fiber Raw Material Production | Polyester (PET), Polyamide/Nylon (PA), Polypropylene (PP), Acrylic, Viscose, and other man-made fibers | Core process in Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) production lines – cutting continuous filament tow into uniformly specified short fibers for spinning or filling applications |
Specialty & High-Performance Materials | Carbon fiber, Fiberglass, Aramid fiber, Basalt fiber | Short-cut for use as reinforcing materials in composites, specialty papermaking, friction materials, etc |
Other Soft Materials | Leather, Fishing nets, Hemp/Jute, Strapping bands, Sponge/foam, Paper, etc. | Shredding materials into small pieces for easier recycling or subsequent processing |

Our cutter handles polyester, carbon fiber, and glass fiber with ease—just change the blade. Closed-loop servo control ensures precise, consistent cuts every time. Unlike hot cutting, our cold-cutting process with advanced clamping prevents melted edges and fraying. The result: smooth, burr-free cuts with shedding rates far below industry norms, meeting the highest quality standards for European and American markets.
High Precision Cutting: Closed-loop servo feed keeps length error within ±0.5mm. High repeat accuracy ensures consistent batches. Lower rejection rates, no secondary sorting needed for downstream processes (spinning, molding)—saving labor costs.
Versatile Material Handling: One machine cuts polyester, nylon, PP, carbon fiber, fiberglass, leather, and fishing nets. Lower investment, greater flexibility, wider order range, and stronger factory competitiveness.
Easy Operation & Smart Maintenance: PLC touchscreen stores hundreds of material recipes (one-touch recall). Tool life warning alerts. Simple training gets regular workers up and running—no advanced technicians needed. Prevents sudden tool breakage and batch scrap.

1,What is the output size after cutting?
Output size typically ranges 0.2–20 cm.
2,What material are the blades made of? Are they durable?
Blades are made of tungsten carbide (cemented carbide) or high-carbon steel, offering high wear resistance. Service life is 3–6 months+ under normal use, and blades can be resharpened multiple times for reuse.
3,How safe is the equipment?
Fully equipped with safety guards, emergency stop buttons, overload protection, and anti-draw-in feed inlets.
Advanced models also offer photoelectric sensors and self-locking wheels for maximum operator safety.
